Motherer was formed in september of 1942 by a group of young rogues from the free city of Gdańsk. Inspired by the pastoral beauty of the baltic lowlands, they created an intricate aural palette with nothing but a pair of army boots and a wooden salad bowl. Unfortunately, all of the original members of Motherer died within days of forming the band in a freak jumping accident. Half a century later, the souls of these men sought reentry into the physical realm in the form of Jacob Folk, Beau Gordon, Justin Bennie, and Garrett White. As the prophecy foretold, these four gentlemen reformed Motherer in early 2014. This time with instruments.
